Yes I do.
How will I know when you are open for commissions?
See next question.
Are you currently open for commissions?
Yes I am. ^-^
Can I buy anything already in your gallery?
Anything in my gallery that is listed for sale, and doesnt already have a sold status on it is currently available. To purchase any of the available plushies, please note me for details. Prices can be found here: [link]
Can I commission you to make any of the plushies in your gallery that youve already made before, like Timeless River Sora, or Hiro?
It depends on a number of things, including the popularity and demand for the plush in question, and the sheer difficulty of said plush. Any plush that is currently for sale, or has already been sold will not be made exactly the same way again. If you have a different idea for the character in question, or perhaps a smaller version, I'd be up for that. Just inquire if you're not sure, and we'll discuss it.
Also, if I am remaking a character, please do not expect your plush to look exactly like the plush already in the gallery, because it will likely not. I am not a machine, and will never be able to exactly duplicate a plush.
Specific plushies in question:
- Timeless River Sora:
Im going to say a quick no to TR Sora for one reason: Ive already made him twice before. I own one, and one is owned by someone else who purchased him off of Ebay. My current limit of how many times I will make a certain plush is 2. Therefore, Im sorry, but I wont be making any more TR Soras.
-Hiro:
Hiro, on the other hand, has only been made once, and he is owned by me. Therefore, Im open to making one more of him. If someone commissions him, expect this answer to change.
How much do you charge for your plushie commissions?
I have two plushie sizes available:
MEDIUM 9"(could be taller depending on hair style) plushies will start at $50, and increase in price depending on the difficulty of the plush. For example, Stephen Colbert would be $50.
LARGE 14" (could be taller depending on hair style) plushies start at $85, and increase in price depending on the difficulty of the plush. For example, Hiro would be $85, while something like KH2 Sora, with its large amount of details, gets bumped up to $100.
Do your plushie prices include shipping and handling charges?
No. I like to ship with USPS Priority Mail + Delivery Confirmation, and I ship USPS International Priority (with insurance) OR First Class Registered Mail (basically, whichever is cheapest for your situation)for countries outside the US. I know it seems expensive (especially the international), but I want your plush to actually get to you, and I dont want to have to deal with worrying that it got lost (though Ill probably worry anyway, because thats just how I am

What payment methods do you accept?
At the moment, only Paypal. Its just the most convenient method for me, and the safest, as far as Im concerned.
What is Paypal?
It is a online payment service. [link] It is frequently used by those who buy/sell on Ebay. You need a bank account/and or credit card to have a Paypal account.
Do you accept partial payments?
Absolutely not. When someone tells me they will be sending along payment, I expect it to be the FULL payment. If I get anything less, I WILL send it back to you minus the paypal fee,. So, please, do not send me any partial payments. If I've already agreed to make your plushie, then I will be happy to wait for full payment as long as my schedule permits (in other words, as long as I don't get booked up with other commissions by the time you pay), because I can not wait for people who have not paid yet, so I advise you to have payment ready when inquiring about a commission.
What if I don't have the money yet, but I just want to inquire about how much my plushie might cost, or if you'd be up to making it?
That's fine. I'll be only too happy to give you a price estimate, so no worries. Send your questions my way. ^__^
Besides the size, what is the difference between your 9" plushies and your 14" plushies?
With the 9 inch plushies, they are standing-only plushies, which means they are completely stuffed with fiberfill (except for their arms, depending on the plush's pose) and will NOT sit down. The larger sized plushies can stand or sit (with support, mind you), because they are filled with fiberfill AND doll pellets. I do it this way, because the large sized plushies are so big, that its just convenient to be able to have them sit for display/storage purposes.
Do you make plushies of animals/creatures?
At the moment, no. I honestly dont think Im there yet, in terms of experience with creature/animal plushies, and I dont want your commission to be my first attempt at one. Maybe, with some practice on my own, Ill change my mind, but at this time, I just make humanoid plushies.
Why are your plushies so expensive?
I have thankfully not been asked this yet, but Im putting it in just in case. The number one reason they are so pricey: My plushies are HUGE. So, it takes me hours, upon hours of planning, and sewing, and detail work to complete just one plush. They are all completely hand sewn by me, and I assure you, that is no small feat. Especially for the largest size dolls. Also, I usually create each clothing item separately from the plush itself, and I make sure to include as much detail as possible, which may call for craft items to be purchased, created, or used, such as chains, paint, extra fabric, iron-on fabric sheets, and even sculpted pieces of clay. So, when thinking of the price, remember, Im one person, spending my free time creating a doll out of nothing. Theres no machines involved, and I dont have a vast amount of supplies at hand. If I need something extra, I have to buy it myself. Plus, this will likely be a one-of-a kind creation just for you. Anything personalized is going to cost more, just like everywhere else.
Once you accept my commission, when will you start working on my plush?
It depends how many commissions I currently have, and if you have paid. If youve already paid me, then no worries, your plush will get done in a timely manner, I promise.^__^ But, its all about first come, first serve. And if you havent paid, then, as far as Im concerned, the commission has NOT been accepted yet. When youve paid in full, I will put you on a list, and the plushies will be completed in order of payment received.
Will I be getting updates?
I'll definitely contact you letting you know when I've started work on your plush, and also when I'm about to ship it. Ill also post the plush up in my gallery here(but only if its a plush I havent made before), so youll know when its done, and that itll be on its way to you soon. ^__^
Can I cancel a plush commission if I change my mind?
No. Once the transaction has gone through, and Ive received full payment, you cannot cancel, and there will be no refunds, so make sure you are completely positive that you want this plush when you first commission it.
Can I change the character that I first requested if Ive already sent payment?
Absolutely not. The requested character that you started out with will be the one you are getting. Im sorry, but once I accept a commission (received payment), Ill already be in the planning stages for the pattern of that character, and I will not change anything because you suddenly changed your mind. Also, the price of the plush depends on the character itself, so if you change your mind, the price may even turn out to be less or more than what you originally paid. Therefore, once the payment is sent, you can consider everything that preceded the acceptance of the commission iron-clad, and unchangeable. No exceptions.
Okay, Ive read all of the above, and I still want to commission you, what do I need to do as the commissioner?
You need to have reference pictures ready. At the very least, I will need a full front and back view of the character, and Im all about the details of a plush, so make sure youve got TONS of reference pictures to provide me. Also, I wont go searching for more pics, so thats on you. Especially if its a character I dont know (which it likely will be, because my anime/video game knowledge isnt as expansive as it could be), because if I dont see it in the pic, it wont be on your plush. So, be as detailed as possible, and be ready with as many pics of your character as possible. The more the merrier. ^^
Can I send you a pic of myself with the plush you made for me?
Yes please! ^__^ I love to see pics of the plushies with their new mommies and daddies. So, if you are up for it, send them my way. ^-^
Devious Comments
But right now, I've just blown almost all of my money on plush from abroad. Ho hum. T_T
But it's something I'd definitely look into. I don't own any customs as of yet.

And, I actually haven't thought about it, but 5 sounds pretty okay to start out with. I don't want to overwhelm myself, and I certainly want to get the plushies to the people who commission me in a timely manner. So, yes, five.... I think.
I think the character I have in mind isn't too detailed...
I suppose there's always potential plush buyers who will find your link on *BabyLondonStar's page.

And yeah! That's why I'm offering the 10" at $45. I know people see $80 and think it's a lot, but I can't help how much I spend on materials, and how much time they take to make.
Plus, the two times I've commissioned people for dolls, I spent double Sora's price for one of them, and just under my standard 14-16" price for the other. And they were both well worth it. But, it just astounds me, because they do take so much time and effort. I'd be cheating myself to charge less. I remember one person was comparing the amount of time spent on a plushie to the minimum wage, and let's face it, if you think of it that way, these plushies are WAY under priced by A LOT. That's why I gave up on selling plushies on ebay. I didn't break even on any of my dolls that were sold. It was really discouraging.
And I hope so! It's really wonderful of her to list plushie artists who are taking commissions on her journal. ^-^ I mean, she gets so much traffic too( for good reason, of course), so hopefully it'll be a huge help. ^^
That is...if you don't mind eventual shpping to England.
Another great thing, English currency is almost exactly half that of the number of USD, so plush prices don't seem so scary to me! XD
Oh I read the journal about fair plush pricing. People sure do expect low prices, but with the amount of work that goes into it it's not worth the maker's time at all. I currently spend my sewing time trying out new patterns before I get properly into stocking materials, and it can take me hours to finish a basic base plush! *phew*
I suppse unless you're getting a lot of traffic, it's hard to get and equal price on ebay.
She's so nice to help up-and-coming artists like that.

And I don't have a problem shipping to England if you don't have a problem paying for the shipping haha!
And, lol! That makes a lot of sense, actually, because the last two plushies I sold were to England. ^^
And exactly. It's the lack of traffic and page views that has a lot to do with finding someone who wants to buy the plush.
And stocking up on materials was part of what had me so discouraged when I first started out. I would have to buy all these different fabrics at once to make a plush, because I literally had nothing available at home. So, that's why I was spending so much, and why I felt like it wasn't worth the money, or effort of making them. But, now, after so many plushies, I'm much more well stocked, and have many more colors/fabric at hand. So, hopefully, the cost for materials will be minimal from now on. But, there's always going to be the odd color, or craft item I may need, but it'll be nothing like it was at the very beginning.
It really does feel satisfying halving a large number.
I'm still at that stage where I have no materials. D;
Just polycotton for practicing patterns, and various trimmings I've had for ages.
I'll start stocking up soon, I just need a job first!
