I've been debating for months about this, but I've finally decided that it was time for a price increase. Over the 6 years that I've been taking commissions, I've only increased my prices once, and that was several years ago, and it was only by $5. While the price of materials have increased, so has my skill level, and yet my prices have remained stagnant. And I realized, I was ripping myself off, because I am a better plushie maker than I was several years ago, and that's not just because I have more experience, but I also spend more time on details, and, therefore, am working longer on plushies than I used to. More time and effort, as well as an increase in quality, for the same amount of money, just isn't very fair to me. So, I'm raising my base prices by $10. I know a lot of people might think that the price I was already charging was a lot of money, but from my side of things, it's really, really not. I sincerely hope people understand. ^__^

As well as a price increase, I've also added a new commissionable plushie size to my FAQ, so for all those who may think the price IS too steep, I included another option. If people are interested, they can now commission 6" plushies as well, although these will be simpler in design than my normal plushies. I've already made a few of this size in the past, and also offer them on my Etsy store, but I decided to now make it an official size. ^-^

I think that's about it business-wise. ^^ I hope everyone has had a good month. Can't wait to see the end of winter. We don't really have much of a spring in New York anymore. It seems to go straight from freezing to boiling around here most of the time. I am, however, sick of this rain. Also, I've managed to watch a few new (to me) animes this past year. I'm LITERALLY obsessed with Fairy Tail. I also watched all of Clannad. If you've never seen it, do NOT do what I did. I spent a whole day watching eps 9-25 of Clannad After Story straight through.... I have NEVER cried so much in my entire life. I think I actually emptied my tear ducts of fluid, because my left eye took several days to recover lol! And I finally got around to watching Gurren Lagann. It was excellent, but so weird for me, because I actually have made a couple of Gurren Lagann plushies. So, when Viral showed up, I was like, I know him! And then came Nia, and I was geekily happy that I actually have plushified these characters before lol! An FYI: commissioners have good taste in anime. ^-^
